Mould Releasing Agent 

A release agent is an interface coating used on two surfaces that tend to stick to each other to make the surface easy to release, smooth and clean.

Mold release agents are used in a wide variety of molding operations including metal die casting, polyurethane foams and elastomers, glass fiber reinforced plastics, injection molded thermoplastics, vacuum foamed sheets and extruded profiles. In molding, sometimes other plastic fillers such as plasticizers will seep into the interface, and a surface remover is needed to remove it.

Mould Releasing Agent I75L

Our standard mould releasing agent is named I75L. It is a powder made on the basis of graphite and other carbon and mineral materials.

I75L is used as an immerse product (dip-product) applied with the foundry of brass after the techniques of manual, mechanical and low pressure. It is also suitable for lead-free brass casting.

Benefit of using I75L

Due to its layered structure, graphite exhibits excellent lubricating and parting properties which are maintained even under pressure or at high temperatures.

The single flakes are very thin and can easily position themselves between two surfaces in reciprocal motion generating a situation of three-body wear (surface-graphite-surface) with very low coefficients of friction.

This makes graphite a proven, environmentally friendly and indispensable component, for example in parting agents for metal processing or the production of high-performance lubricating grease.

Graphite is most effective for lubricants in stamping, rolling, metal, forging and general industry for processing of hot metal under pressure.

Graphite lubricant provides a lubricating layer of the following properties: resistance, minimal deposition, no biological fermentation, adhesion to the surface moisture resistance, thermal stability.
