Applications
1. Widely used for producing Anode Paste and Prebaked Carbon Anode for electrolytic Aluminium, application as additive in graphite electrode and carbon raiser production, also used as fuel for silicon metal smelting.
2. Used as basic raw material for carbon additive and foaming agent.
3. Used in chemical industry as the basic chemical source of sodium hydride and high pure CO.

Petroleum coke is a black or dark gray hard solid petroleum product. The petroleum coke components are hydrocarbons with metallic luster and are porous. They are granular, columnar or needle-like carbon bodies formed by tiny graphite crystals.
